Let's Answer Some Questions

But what if I don't know how to help people build habits? What if I'm not an expert in habits?

Don't worry. You are like 99.9% of other people (including coaches, trainers, and speakers!). We build habits just for you and for your clients. We have reviewed over 60 years of research on habit formation to get at the essence of how habits are formed and then we built a system (Architect) that does it all for you. It'll provide the reminders, the triggers, the rewards, and it will even the more complicated stuff like the schedule and type of reinforcement. In short, it's got you covered. All you need to do is input the habits that you want your clients to form and Architect will take care of the rest.

Is this really scalable? Do I have to design a different habit program for each of my clients?

It is 100% scalable. And you can customize to whatever degree you want. If you want to create one habit building program and have all your clients do the same program, that is totally cool and Architect makes it easy. Most speakers and trainers actually take this approach. If you want to customize your Architect and build programs specific to each one of your clients, you can do that too. Most coaches take this approach. You can create habit building programs for individuals, groups, or everyone that you register.

Will this require work? Do I actually have to put effort into this?

Mad emoji face. Yes. It will require work and effort. Just like all good things, it will require work and effort. You will get out of Architect exactly what you put into it (and so will your clients!). That being said, how you use Architect will impact how much work you need to put into the system. If you do a "one habit program for all" approach, then most of your work will be upfront. We've done that and it works really well. You build the program and then after that, it is more like passive income. You don't have to re-create the wheel each time, and you are more just occasionally monitoring the system to make sure that your clients are progressing appropriately. If you do a customized program for each client, then it will require you to create a habit building program for each client. That will take more on-going work.

What if I don't know how to build an online course?

No worries at all. There are a lot of resources available to help you on this and we will make those available to you when you sign up. You can make a really immersive unique program or you can go simple and just post videos of your training or you presenting your PowerPoints. It's like selling DVDs of your training, except it's an electronic copy. 🙂

But won't my clients get bored? Will they see the same habit exercises over and over?

100% guarantee that they will get bored AND THAT IS HOW HABITS WORK!!! They are supposed to get bored! The point of a habit is that you repeat the same activity (or type of activity) over and over until it becomes second nature. Sometimes, it will feel repetitive. (duh) Keep in mind though, habit formation works in a very predictable pattern. The first little while the new habit will feel novel and it'll feel cool to do. Then you (your clients) get used to the new habit and it loses its novelty. It starts to get boring. This is the point that most people quit. DON'T!!! Push through because the next step after boredom is when you actually gain a true "habit". The stage after boredom is when the activity starts to become natural and self-reinforcing. You start doing it because it is "who you are" and you actually begin to enjoy the activity. But in order to get there, you have to get past the boredom stage!!!!

We have done a number of things, and plan to do still more, to help you clients get over the boredom hump. First, we built the system to be addictive. And we really mean that. We have rewards--funny gifs, inspirational quotes, and even weekly and monthly prize lotteries--to give them the shot of dopamine that will make them crave using Architect. Second, Architect is built for accountability. You can opt to receive "early warning" messages that notify you when your clients are starting to fall of the habit wagon. You can help give them encouragement to get them over this hump and continue. If you don't personally work with your clients--most speakers and trainers fall into this camp--you can send these notifications to your client champions so that they can intervene as appropriate. Third, our development plan has a HUGE social component to Architect 2.0. It'll do even more to keep your clients on the right path.  So, in summary, yes, they will get bored. But if we do things right, we will move them beyond boredom into actual permanent habits.

How do I know this actually works? What guarantees can you offer?

It works. It works soooo well. Our initial studies have come back with AMAZING results. BUT!!! Here is the qualification--Architect depends on what you put into the system. If you don't actually create a habit building program or an online course or you build a...poopy program, then you will get exactly the results that you deserve. There is a saying in computer science and statistics that applies perfectly here: "garbage in, garbage out." However, if you take the time to build a robust, authentic program--if you truly focus on behavior change not just making more money or trying to take shortcuts--then your clients will experience phenomenal, maybe even life-changing, results. They will build habits and they will better because you used Architect.

What about data protection? Privacy?

You and your clients data is completely protected and private. Registering for Architect requires very minimal data--basic demographic information--and is stored on protected servers. We do not sell or distribute their information. We do not spam or sell to your clients. Your clients can opt-in to receive their daily habit exercise through email. They can also opt-out at any time. Your clients can, at any time, request to know the information that we have stored and have it deleted. On our own, we regularly delete inactive clients and their private information. We also do not collect any payments or payment information from your clients--that all goes directly to you, we have nothing to do with that. When we do validation studies, we scrub the data of any personally identifying information. We strive to be GDRP  and IRB compliant. In short, we ain't no Facebook. 😉
